ABOUT THE CONTEST
We Love Siem Reap is an independently organized contest to help promote Siem Reap as a must-go-to travel destination. The pandemic affected the entire world, and Siem Reap was hit particularly hard.
However, the city of Siem Reap did amazing things during the shutdown. They improved over 108 kilometers of roads and added bicycle lanes throughout the city. They completed improvements to the Angkor Park facilities making them even more enjoyable with better amenities for when you need to take a break from all the temple trekking. New attractions were completed during this time and Siem Reap now hosts Cambodia’s first aquarium and an amazing wakeboard park. This is in addition to the already amazing destinations like Phare Circus and the nightlife of pub street, or the quiet strolls along the town’s riverside.
There are so many reasons to love Siem Reap, perhaps now more than ever. So, come, visit, love, laugh, and share your experiences to tell the world why Siem Reap feels like everyone’s hometown.
